Pancake Mix Cookies

{recipe & pic from} Line Upon Line
Pancake mix Cookies
 {a.k.a Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies}

2 cup krusteaz pancake mix (she used pioneer brand Bisquick- we don't have that here)
1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 pkg semi sweet chocolate chip, Plus a extra 1 cup
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 tablespoon butter, melted

1. Melt the 1 pkg. of chocolate chips (about 1 minute 30 seconds – after the first 1 minute only do 30 seconds so you don’t burn the chocolate and make sure your bowl has no water in it – chocolate don’t like water when melting)
2. In a mixing bowl add all the other ingredients except for the 1 cup chips. Mix well until smooth and blended. Add the 1 cup chips and mix in again.
3. Drop by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet and bake at 350 for 8 minutes.

Hello! I had some organic pancake mix that made some rather dry pancakes. I wondered if I might be able to make some cookies out of them . . .

Found your blog and tried this recipe and was very pleased with the results! You'd never know they were from a pancake mix.

Thanks for posting it! There wasn't much to be had when I searched and was glad to find this ;)

Just wanted to say thanks for this recipe. I've made the cookies many times and have since change it to replace chocolate chips with 1 cup of Nutella. I also make brownies using a muffin tin by baking for 12 min. I wouldn't have been able to make them without your original recipe. Thank you!

These look YUMMY! I pinned this recipe months ago and have yet to try it. The last poster mentioned Nutella and I think I will make a batch of BOTH!

Thanks for posting.
